About Yoga Nidra and Breathing Space:
Jill Weston, owner of Breathing Space will guide us through a Yoga Nidra meditation session; releasing stress and reaching a state of deep relaxation and awareness. We get to lay down for about 35 minutes and do nothing! There’s no yoga postures, no effort, just pure relaxation.
During Yoga Nidra the nervous system rebalances. There’s a beautiful shift from “fight or flight” back to “rest and digest.” In this state, there is increased self-awareness and a reconnection to possibilities. Yoga Nidra addresses stress, insomnia and anxiety. The effects may last into the week creating a more balanced and harmonious life.
It is important to have a quiet space to practice with no disruptions. Prepare a comfortable place to lay down on a bed or padded floor. Have a pillow, several blankets and rolled up blankets for under your knees.
Jill is known for her healing voice and calm vibe…she’s often called the “stress whisperer."
